Craig
Stout was most recently Vice-President of Sales & Marketing at oeBusiness
where he was responsible for the development and maintenance of Key
Channels and Strategic Partnerships, the oversight and management of
Client Acquisition and Services as well as the development and implementation
of marketing strategies and initiatives. Mr. Stout was also instrumental
in the development of client risk mitigation products including eBusiness
security monitoring process options, screening products and insurance
instrument product offerings for oeBusiness clients. Mr. Stout
draws on his expertise gained as an executive with experience in strategic
business development, marketing and sales on four continents.
Prior
to joining oeBusiness, Mr. Stout started and built out a successful
Washington, DC based international security company providing protective
security to high profile US executives traveling to high risk areas
around the world, and cross marketing this service to key US interests
throughout the world. Mr. Stout oversaw all aspects of business development
as the company grew and today remains a director and significant shareholder
of the company.
Before
starting the security company Mr. Stout held a senior executive position
with the Washington Funds, an offshore-based investment/hedge fund manager
that brought foreign institutional and private capital into the US stock
and commodities markets, where he assisted in the development of the
firms marketing strategy for several Funds. He maintained a leadership
role in developing and managing institutional client relationships in
Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Mr.
Stout began his career in a London based position with Elders IXL, the
multinational agribusiness and food and drinks conglomerate in the strategic
business development group. During his time with Elders IXL he was part
of the European acquisition team which identified businesses of strategic
value to Elders interests, initiated acquisitions and developed the
execution plans focused on integrating these new businesses into the
Elders corporate structure, primarily from a sales and marketing perspective.
Mr.
Stout graduated with honors from American University in Washington,
DC.
