Ron
Kulkarni comes to BlueCar Partners from Reach Venture Partners, an early
stage venture technology investment company and a business incubator. At Reach,
he was responsible for the business development efforts of the firm and its
partner companies. Over a period of 18 months, Reach successfully invested
in 18 early stage technology companies.
Before
joining Reach, Ron was the CFO and co-founder of Enterprise Cable Solutions,
a venture capital backed manufacturer of workstation system-interconnect
products. Investors in the company included Andreas Bechtolsheim, a
co-founder of Sun Microsystems.
Prior
to ECS, Ron co-founded Access Development Corporation. Over an eight year
period, ADC established itself as one of the leading application development
companies in the investment banking industry. Ronís clients included Merrill
Lynch, PaineWebber, Dredsner Bank, Berkshire Hathaway, Lotus Development, and
Lazard Freres.
Ron has
also previously been Director of National Sales for Experra Inc., a venture
capital backed financial database company. Investors included Lazard Freres,
Merrill Lynch, and CompuServe.
